There have been 3 issues/posts related to #12759. Is the issue concerning
enough that we should create the 1.2.2 release soon? If so, should #12764
be included in 1.2.2?

Trac 1.2.2 is also necessitated by regression in #12734.

I created a 1.2.3 milestone. I'll create the 1.2.2 release when open issue
assigned to 1.0.14 and 1.2.2 are resolved.
