I was reading GenericTrac [1]_ and MultiProject [2]_ design docs and I
could not find information about a few aspects , notably the APIs to
instantiate data access objects , projects resources , etc ...

Is there any other web page that (I'm missing / you can recommend me)?

Thanks in advance !

Hi Olemis,

Funny timing today, your post and Christopher Nelson's "I miss Trac".
I wish I could respond to both in the same mail... as they're closely
related to me.

For quite some years, I've been trying to promote the use of Trac at my
workplace and we indeed use the wiki to a great extent, but so far not
the ticketing system. And now we're getting closer to a switch to Jira
(or something similarly big & ugly... no, just kidding, Jira is fine,
it's just not as nice as Trac could be ;-) ). So I'm getting some extra
motivation to actually realize what's been only vague ideas for years.
Starting with some performance boost with this Jinja2 switch, as that's
always appreciated, then probably continuing with the big topics on the
ticketing system (#31, #886) which will imply some kind of generic Trac
and multi-project support. Yay. But as usual, no guarantee, it may as
well not happen and then I'll also say amen to Chris' post ;-)

Because there's still nothing convincing to show at this point.

But one thing at a time, I'll first make sure we have a smooth
transition to Jinja2, then fix some other areas in which I'm involved
and somewhat let drift away (L10N, Transifex) and then the fun stuff!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaporware ? (it's OK if I say it, but
don't throw it back to me, please)
