[Trac-dev] Versions and Milestones

Hey guys,

I realize different persons use the milestones and versions in different ways and I realize there has been a lot of dicussion on what is 'right'.

I am not even remotely interested in a holy war on what is 'correct'. What I would like though Is the idea of filtering out 'closed'/completed versions from new ticket entry. Do you guys have suggestions on the best approach? I thought of putting in a ticket for a feature request. I see a lot of debate on the topic.

Are there any thoughts on this before I take some next step? What is the best approach to handle a request such as this?

It's been request in:
https://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/11637
The addition of a "hidden" attribute for Versions sounds like it will
support your use-case. It might get done for Trac 1.4.

I did some initial work on #11637. Feel free to review and comment on
what's needed.

Thanks for pointing me the right direction. I hadn't come across that particular ticket.
